JDE Marine is a division of JDE Construction Management Ltd., an Edmonton, Alberta, based construction consulting firm established in 1991.   JDE Marine is a registered trade name in Canada.

The relationship between John Dawson-Edwards and Steve Cockerill started of with a chat at the 2002 World Masters in Hyannis and continued the next year in Cadiz.   We started selling Rooster goods on  September 13, 2004.  We now are mostly on Steve's manufacturing cycle with goods coming from China (neoprene, lycra, boat and board covers) so we are able to keep our prices competitive, and extremely so considering the high quality of the goods.   Dealers should contact us for pricing on bulk quantities.

Here's the proof of the pudding - penultimate day of the 2005 Masters Worlds in Fortaleza, Brazil.  John and Steve both got a one/two using the stuff they sell.  Both were using Lycra over shorts on top of Rooster hikers.  You get more grip on the sidedeck.  John got 5th overall (one point off the podium - ouch!) in the GM Standard rig  and was in with a chance of 3rd on the last day until he got part of a banana stuck in his bailer which  stopped it draining the cockpit.   John (prairie-boy) D-E was fastest upwind in the latter part of the regatta.  First at the first mark in the last three races he sailed.   Steve got 2nd (again!) in the Apprentice Radials.  Both are wearing the new Polyamide/Lycra rashguards. Better than just the usual lycra rashguard which offers no warmth - the polyamide content in the material provides some warmth when used as a base layer.

We want to be able to deliver the Rooster products to you at the lowest reasonable cost commensurate with being a professional organization.   Most goods will ship out by Canada Post within 24 hours of ordering.  This takes about one week in Canada and two weeks to the USA.
