Rooster Hiking Pads
suitable for fitting to either the Rooster
Shin Tech Long John or the
Rooster Pro Hikers. The pads are curved to
match your thighs and will (I am told by Steve) hold you higher in the
boat which will keep your bum out of the water more and thus make you
faster upwind.
John D-E Note: You
do not necessarily have to follow the pad size chart. The size of
the pad can be personal choice. When I get sailing this year I
will try all sizes and let you know my thoughts. Currently I think
you should go with the smallest (= lightest) pad that still gives the
proper thigh support.
