How to Order

1. Check out which goods you want. 
    

2. Then send us an e-mail by clicking on rooster@jdemarine.com.   If you prefer or have to create your own e-mail please put "Rooster Order" in the subject line.
    

3. Provide the following information.  Copy and paste the table into the e-mail and enter the information (or fax the info to 780-429-4843).  You can put your credit card info on the fax - it's safe.

   Country (CAN/USA/Other)
   Phone Number at Billing Address (for security reasons)

4. We will then send you an invoice in pdf format via e-mail which contains a link to QuickBooks secure credit card processor - Optimal Payments - where you can pay using Visa or MasterCard in US $ or CDN $ as appropriate. (US customers are invoiced in US $.) 
    

5. As soon as you pay, we get an e-mail from the credit card processing company  confirming your payment has been made and then we ship the goods. (For Canadian customers we will also accept personal cheques.  If we know you, we will also accept US checks in US$.)
    

6. You can also call or fax, but e-mailing is the most efficient.  If you are not from Canada or the US, we will need a CDN$ money order before we can ship - the credit card payment system only works for Canada and US addresses.
    

7. We ship DVDs, clew straps, gloves, lycra shorts and other thin items using letter post.  Other items are shipped using Canada Post Expedited parcel post or FedEx Ground.  Canada Post takes 3-5 business days in Canada and 5-10 days to the US.  FedEx Ground takes 2-6 business days in both Canada and the US.   Smaller items are shipped using Canada Post.  Larger items we ship FedEx Ground at no extra charge.   You will get tracking information e-mails from each carrier.

Small but Readable Small Print

• Prices quoted are exclusive of all local taxes, shipping and handling. 

• For Canadian customers we add GST or HST where applicable.   Alberta has no provincial sales tax. 

• Customers in other countries are responsible for all customs duties taxes etc. 

• US orders valued under $200 US do not attract duties or taxes at the border to the best of our knowledge.  If your order is over $200 US we can always split it into two orders so you don't get stuck with duties.  We will absorb any extra shipping costs this requires.

• Our terms and conditions of sale are similar (where possible and applicable) to those of the UK Rooster Sailing operation (warranty is six months on clothing and gear - wear and tear excluded). 

•  If you are interested in any Rooster stuff that is not is stock etc., etc.,  let us know and we will quote you a price.   We will get it shipped direct from the UK direct to you if necessary. Pricing varies depending on the exchange rate and Steve's "feel good" factor.
